Why Hire A Marquee?


Complete Creative Freedom

A marquee gives you the ability to transform almost any space into a magical event venue, be it an outdoor section of an existing venue, a rental, or a family member/friend’s or your own property. One of the best parts of marquee weddings and events is that they allow you to have complete creative freedom over your space. Marquees are a blank canvas and allow you to make the space entirely your own, from the style of marquee, lighting, flooring, furniture, tableware and decorations – this can all be uniquely yours! Only your guests will get this experience, as it is yours and yours only, and can be setup to reflect your unique personality/style.


Providing Weather Security

Marquees are the perfect solution for those who want to plan an outdoor celebration but are still wanting to be cautious about our lovely, but often unpredictable weather here on the North Coast.

When planning an outdoor event, you don’t want to be constantly worrying about the weather, and if it could suddenly decide to pour down with rain - and with a marquee, you don’t need to, as they are completely weatherproof. Our clear roof marquees are perfect for giving your guests that outdoor ‘feel’ while still being protected from the elements – be it wind, rain, cold air or insects, and as a bonus, they can look up and see the night sky.


Size Flexibility

Our marquees come in a huge range of sizes, with our Hocker marquees available in widths of 3,6, 10 and 15, and lengths gong up in increments of 3m, we can almost certainly find a suitable size for your guest numbers, be it for 10 or 400.

Unlike many venues, where you are paying for the property or a room/section of the venue, with a marquee, you will only be paying for the space you wish to use. Our friendly team will decide on a suitable size for you, taking into account both your guest numbers and the available space. If your guest numbers rise or fall during planning, not to worry – we can adjust the size of your marquee if necessary.

This is also very handy for those who wish to have larger guest lists, for which inside venues cannot always accommodate to.
